From making inferences about never before seen toys, to connecting with toys they've seen before, our students were truly engaged. With just enough guidance and with their imagination and creativity on full blast, our students created their own board games, which they were excstatic to present. The minds and talents of children are incredible. Thank you!

I have been teaching for 33 years and over the last 5 years I have seen a decline in students' growth mindset, attention span, and the ability to productively struggle. With standardized testing in the forefront, a teacher's ability to make sure there are enough hands-on, creative, and out of the box activities has been diminished. As teachers, we are always looking for solid-standard based activities to excite our students and also make sure we are adhering to best practices. These challenges are perfect to enhance any classroom!

I receive emails from students and parents saying how much they love the club and how it has pushed their students in their free time and even in the summer to work hard on the items presented to them. The students truly are passionate about being a part of the club and earning their patch and pouch at the end of the year because of Marlene's leadership. I cannot thank you all enough for giving us this opportunity.
