I have been teaching for 33 years and over the last 5 years I have seen a decline in students' growth mindset, attention span, and the ability to productively struggle. With standardized testing in the forefront, a teacher's ability to make sure there are enough hands-on, creative, and out of the box activities has been diminished. As teachers, we are always looking for solid-standard based activities to excite our students and also make sure we are adhering to best practices. These challenges are perfect to enhance any classroom!
